According to statistics, every 700 newborns are diagnosed with Down syndrome. Such children have developmental peculiarities.

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for parents to send their special children to orphanages, fearing responsibility. Such children who grew up in a family have every chance for a full life.

But there are also parents who do an excellent job of raising children with this syndrome.

And this dad is one of them. His name is Eugene, he is 33 years old, and his son’s name is Michael.

The diagnosis of the child became known immediately after his birth.

The first feeling that the young dad experienced was confusion. But he immediately pulled himself together, because his wife needed his support, which was the most difficult.

Eugene admitted that he was very upset when he found out about the diagnosis of his son. Now he is very ashamed of his behavior. He had a child, whom he was waiting for, and this is the most important thing.

Soon the realization came that he was a full-fledged person who had a special child. And his tears are real selfishness. And he must be responsible, because he now has a son.

Firstly, the man decided to find out as much information as possible about the syndrome.

Information about his son’s diagnosis did not affect Eugene’s decision about the baby’s upbringing. But his wife had a different opinion on this matter. She did not want to raise a sick child, and therefore filed for divorce.

Eugene could not convince his wife.

Eugene does not consider himself a hero. The status of a parent obliges everyone to be responsible for their child.

On his Instagram page, the man tells what difficulties he faces and how he solves it. He hopes that this will help change people’s attitudes towards special children.
